This Privacy Policy explains what information Port Parma Logistics LLC (“Port Parma”, “we”, “us”) collects through portparma.com and the Driver Hub, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website. Applications you submit on Indeed, and interviews you complete through our recruiting tool HRMLESS, are also covered by those companies’ own privacy policies.

Information we collect

When you visit the public website

You can read every public page without giving us any personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not sell or rent visitor information.

Like every website, ours runs on a web server, provided by our hosting company GoDaddy. That server automatically records basic technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These records are used to keep the website running and secure.

Maps, videos and links to other sites

• Google Maps. Our Contact page shows a map provided by Google. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• YouTube. Training videos in the Driver Hub are played from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and load only when you press play. YouTube then handles your viewing under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Indeed. “Apply” buttons take you to Indeed. Anything you submit there is collected by Indeed under Indeed’s terms and privacy policy, and Indeed shares your application with us.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

When you request or use a Driver Hub account

The Driver Hub is for current Port Parma drivers. When you request access we collect:

• Your first and last name and email address
• Your password, which is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form; we cannot see it
• Your confirmation that you currently drive for Port Parma, and the date you agreed to the Driver Hub Terms

While you have an account, we also keep the date you signed up, the date HR approved or deactivated your account and who did so, and the date of your last Hub visit (used to show what is new since you last visited).

Job applicants

When you apply through Indeed, we receive your application from Indeed. We use HRMLESS, an AI-powered recruiting tool, to schedule interviews, send you messages about your application, run automated video interviews and screen applications. People at Port Parma make the final hiring decisions. Our AI in Hiring Notice explains how this works and your rights, including your right to have your video interview deleted. We use applicant information only to consider you for a job with us and to meet our legal obligations.

Cookies

Visitors to the public pages receive no cookies from us. When you log in to the Driver Hub, WordPress (the software this website runs on) sets cookies that keep you signed in and protect your account. These are strictly necessary for the Hub to work and are not used for tracking or advertising. Google Maps and YouTube may set their own cookies, as described above.

How we use information

• To run, maintain and secure this website
• To review Driver Hub requests and confirm that the person asking is a current Port Parma driver
• To provide the Driver Hub and its documents, news, recognition and events
• To send account emails, such as confirming your request, approval or password resets
• To answer questions you send us
• To consider applicants for employment, as described in our AI in Hiring Notice
• To comply with the law and protect the rights and safety of our drivers, customers and company

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:

• With service providers that run parts of the website or our hiring for us, such as GoDaddy (hosting and email), Indeed (job applications) and HRMLESS (interviews and screening), only as needed for those services
• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Port Parma, our drivers or others
• As part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, subject to this policy

How long we keep information

• Driver Hub requests that HR does not approve are deleted when they are rejected.
• Active Driver Hub accounts are kept while you drive for Port Parma.
• When you stop driving for Port Parma, your account is deactivated straight away. We keep it until HR deletes it, and you can ask us to delete it sooner.
• Emails are kept as long as needed to answer them and for our business records.
• Video interviews are deleted within 30 days of your request, as explained in our AI in Hiring Notice.

Security

We protect information with encrypted connections (https), hashed passwords, a Driver Hub that only approved accounts can open, and document storage that cannot be reached from outside the Hub. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act.

Biometric information

This website does not collect fingerprints, face scans or any other biometric information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you through this website, or to deactivate your Driver Hub account. Email sp@portparma.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep. Depending on where you live, your state’s law may give you additional rights; contact us and we will respond as that law requires.

Children

This website is for adults looking for work and for our drivers, who must be at least 21. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Do Not Track

We do not track visitors across other websites, so we do not change our practices in response to browser Do Not Track signals.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
